Welcome to Gosport Bowmen

Gosport Bowmen cater for those who have a keen interest in archery, regardless of ability. Whether you prefer to shoot Barebow, Recurve, Compound or the traditional Longbow Gosport Bowmen can provide training and advice for both novice and experienced archer alike, with free use of our club equipment on Taster and Beginners courses.

The Gosport Bowmen have been established in the local area for nearly 40 years and always offer a warm welcome to both new and experienced archers visiting or joining the club.

The indoor facilities boast a massive 30m shooting range. One of the biggest in the area.

Beginners are welcomed with a five session Beginners course which we run regularly throughout the year, followed by further support by an advanced coach .  During the warmer months, we also run one-day and two-day weekend beginner courses, which are held outdoors.  Please go to Beginners section for further details.

Taster Sessions are also available for those wishing to try before committing to a Beginners course. Any one taking up a Taster session can go on to do a Beginners course for a reduced fee.

We can presently boast a thriving club with over 70 Senior and Junior members, with new members joining regularly. We always welcome new members, guest shooters (on production of Archery GB card) and Junior members who must be 8 plus.
